This is a movie script (sorta, it's written like a movie script, but if it was a movie it's be the titanic! It's really long!) The writer knows her characters and their situations inside out which makes this enjoyable, but like most books on punk culture it is a collection of stories tied into one long story, which can get a a bit tedious in the middle of the book, but at the end she picks the plot back up again and it's awesome! Every other punk book I have read is slow in the middle (Salad Days, Small Town Punk, Evasion etc) so it's not a complaint really. She does punk lit with style and substanance. Make sure you read it if you are into punk/street culture... but be warned it's long (some of the middle would get edited out if this was ever professionaly published, which it should be, coz it's great, I was up til 4am finishing it!)
